Thanks for the inputs Gents. I believe the issue is the rear main leak from a full dispatch. Will keep it at least half full on the stick.

Has anyone added Barr's or Lucas oil stop leak products to their engine oil? Did it help to a degree with any leaks? I tried checking previous threads but couldn't locate anything specifically...

30 - 31 Hood Latch

Hoping someone has a used (doesn't need to be pretty) used hood latch for a 30 or 31 in their stash they wouldn't mind parting with at a reasonable cost. Thanks.

Update: changed the springs on my original latch and what a difference. All good now. Should have done this in the first place. Will be returning the repo latch to Snyder’s.

I will double check the striker but not sure how to tell if it is worn. however everything was fine until the spring broke in the original latch. Now that I know there are spring kits, I will try to...

Will try it again for I attempted this already. The major problem is that the door seemed latched it actually came open when I was driving. Very alarming. I think I will try and rebuild my original...

Steering Support Bracket Question

I have a 30 Coupe and although I have not had any issues with fuel leaks resulting from the steering support bracket riveted to the gas tank, I am thinking about getting the 1931 version that fastens...

Gotcha. I believe if I turn the clevis counter clockwise it should increase the pedal play.
