Hot water heater photos

Does anyone have pictures of their hot water heater install?

When I installed my 6.1 head I had overheat problems at long highway speeds, as before I did not have a problem. I had the radiator cleaned out and flow tested and the shop said it was good. I...

Re: Knocking at start up?

J. your theory shows it does not knock when the clutch is not depressed on startup.

So, how is this fixed? If it doesn't hurt anything I won't bother.

Follow up:

Soooo, what does that tell you?

Knocking at start up?

What would cause a knock at startup? The knock is only for about 20-30 seconds, then it stops.

After startup, it does not matter where the spark lever is positioned.

Re: Spark Control . . .

The article is 100% the correct way to do it.

After retarding the advance don't forget to move the lever back to its happy spot, down because a retarded engine will run hotter.

Re: Removed engine; some improvements?

My flywheel had many more mico cracks. The guy that did my engine said that was not an issue. He resurfaced it and 9,000 miles later it still feels new.

Re: Driving at night - Charge and Ammeter Readin

That's very normal. A generator can not charge at low idle speeds, therefore the amps will read low or negative when stopped at a light.

Do a search on moving the generator "third arm".

8-10...
