Gland rings counter bore
Does the block have a counter bore for the gland rings like the exhaust manifold do? My block doesn’t show any sign of any counter bore.

Voltage regulator
Is anyone producing voltage regulators any more? It looks like Fun Projects are out of business and I haven’t seen any recent posts from Tom Wessenberg.

Re: Roadster top boot
Thanks for the info. I had found a 30-31 boot. If you ever decide to change to a 31 boot keep me in mind for your 29 boot.

Re: Tire cover with mirrors
Yes they do vibrate. I already have them on the car. I didn't know how they would look with the Ford logo tire covers.

Tire cover with mirrors
I'm planning on getting spare tire covers for our roadster. Does anyone have a picture of sidemounts with tire covers and a strap on mirror? The strap will partly cover the Ford logo so I'm thinking...

Re: Rear hubs
My drums are shot. All five lugs are welded and ground flat across the hub. I don’t think I could ground the welds off without ruining the hub. I was planing on finding a good set of used ones and...

Re: U-joint inspection
Yes 1/4. The u- joint cups don’t seem to have any play on the u-joint shaft but if you grasp the front half and rear half it will slide on the shafts outward at least 1/4 back a forth. On a normal...

Snyder’s 6:1 head combustion chamber
I was looking at an older Snyder 6:1 head. The combustion chamber was a heart design like their 5.5:1 heads. Their new 6:1 heads have a different modified heart design. Did Snyder’s change their 6:1...
