IF memory serves me right, you should see the 4" added splice part to the torque tube somewhere just "AFT"??? of where the rear radius rods attach or right at that spot

Torque tube length is 73-3/4" (approx) measurement......4" longer than the 39 Ford. Axle length is the same as 39 Ford.

I have a 1/4" block of aluminum bar, I call lay that on top of the screen and double check it tonight before I TIG it!!! Right now, IF i get it any closer my bail will hit the bottom of the...

Modifying an oil pickup tube for an early oil pan. I put a straight edge across the pan and measured to the bottom. I made a little go/no go gauge (if you will) and here is where I marked the oil...

Not sure what year you are needing but try Larry Leitheiser (218) 849-2759. He is up in Minnesota. He did my gauge cluster for my 1941 Ford GP jeep. I know he has done some 32. 33 and 34 stuff...

81T heads are "most commonly" referred to as "truck" heads. 81T-6049 is the right hand head. 81T heads, for me and my interests, the correct heads for 1939-1941 Mercury's.

IF it helps, I use a socket to help press the rope seal to the cover, it also helps keep from cutting your fingers badly!!!

Cut them flush, the oil pan gasket,as you see, covers them. IF need be you can use just a little dab of RTV at that point. Another suggestion given to me was to soak your rope seals in oil for 24...
