Re: 1985 F150 Vacuum Leak

I have a 85 300 6 in my 56 F100. 1985 had a weird emissions set up with a electronic mixture solenoid and a early style of computer controlled advance. I switched mine to a late 70's style vacuum...

Re: F100 front spring bushing replacement

I used a piece of 1/2" threaded rod, 2 nuts, a washer and a big deep socket. That will work for the bushings that go in the spring itself. The 1/2" nut (3/4" hex) is too big to take the bushing out...

Re: Wiring Ideas

If it is a original replacement type, you can go on Mid Fifty's site and look at a pdf of the instructions of their replacement harness. If it is a aftermarket "custom" type harness I don't know how...

Re: How to install 54 F-100 parking light wiring location

I'm not absolutely positive but I believe the wires go up thru the headlight bucket. That's the way the wires were on a 56 Wrecker I parted out and it looked like it was original. I don't have my 56...

Re: Front disc brakes not releasing

I had quite a puzzle installing a disc brake kit from CPP on my F100. I could barely get the pads in using a set of turned F150 rotors- way too tight. I was using GM calipers for a !985 Chevy pickup....
