28-29 roadster door post

Hi,

Looking for a pair of 28-29 roadster door/cowl posts. It's the last panel needed for my 29 RPU. Thanks for any help finding a set!

Agreed, I did not in the past but after running needle bearings in a car I did over 10 years ago I pulled it apart a few months ago and it had significant notching which made me a believer. I'll look...

I'd likely look into the carb just because of the sitting and unknown rebuilder/old gas corrosion. Ignition parts rarely deteriorate over time at least not as fast as a barb. it counds like it could...

I've been happy with my Optima mounted flat in the original location for 3 trouble free years now. It fits just right in the frame rail.

I've only had to use a little tension on the ones I've done but a cargo strap hooked to my 1/2 ton tow hitch helped on one lol

Mine has a 1/8 barbed fitting in the driver side tube with a couple inches of tubing. Seems to work great for the last few years and I will say I noticed less leaking around the tube

Ive had lots of success with it on sheet metal followed by a cleaning with a scotch brite pad
