Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

They didn't mention the tri power 401 HP 390. That may have been a dealer installed and over the counter thing though. Sal

Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

The 332 had a 4.00" bore and 3.30" stroke. Pretty sure the specs have the wrong stroke listed.

Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

The engine specifications seem to be a little incorrect. They say the 332 engine bore and stroke was 4.00 x 3.50. Pretty sure that's more like specs for a 352 V8.

Nice ! It looks like it might be an original paint car.

Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

Those Rochester 2GC carbs aren't really older. And likely slightly newer than the original tri power carbs. I agree it's not original, but if the owner doesn't care, I'm sure it runs just as good.

Good eye Lanny and mercman ! That's enough to make you go blind.

Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

I can see at least two '61 Starliners in the mix too.

Re: 1961 Fords - Where have they all gone?

The smaller of the two looks more like a 1990 model.
