Re: Pitnam arm instalation questin

Or you could do it the way I found my pickup drag link, put the cotter pin in, then screw the plug down on it snug. Yep, leaked grease like crazy and had a serious death wobble! How it never fell off...

Re: Pitnam arm instalation questin

Re: Body Off Attempt

I have forks for my tractor so it was easy. If I didn't I think I would just get about 4 buddies and lift it. Four to lift, and one to block it. But if you are taking the body to a body shop you...

Re: New to the forum and questions (lot!)

Re: Teflon EZ Steer Kit what do you think?

Re: Sidemount Spare Installation Problem

The person that posted the above information about them being loose is one of the most knowledgeable persons in the country, when it comes to model A's.

Re: Sidemount Spare Installation Problem

If the spare squeeks in the mount, just do what some idiot prior to me did with my pickup, smear about a half tube of grease in the well!
It took forever to get that crap out.

Re: How much paint?

I am used to using urethanes, but it's been more than a few years. But as I recall it only took about a gallon to paint a Semi tractor.

Re: How much paint?

Ok, this has become an interesting conversation. I am surprised the amounts are as high as they are. As Brent mentioned, I didn't really give enough info.
I am using Urethane 8:1:2. The data sheets...

Re: “Do not use a file” to dress down breaker points

Re: GAS TANK un SEALER

I would be a little afraid of sheetrock nails getting stuck in the baffles, but steel shot might work.

Re: 1931 Model A Serial Number
