Re: Do You Mount Your Own Tires?

Re: AM automobile radios in 1930.

This explains a few questions, such as where the antenna is.

The auction says FM/AM though and I don't think that's necessarily accurate...

Re: Gen-w/p-oil filler

Good questions and I appreciate the replies. I'll have to do some more checking.
I will post a couple more pictures, because the starter looks a little different to me as well.

Gen-w/p-oil filler

Please take a look at this picture and tell me about the generator, water pump and oil filler. These are all different than my other 2 Model A's.
Thanks!

Re: Christchurch NZ Earthquake

That one was a very severe Quake and so were the after shocks. I was reading some of the horrible first hand stories about it.
My prayers are with you all!
In my reading I found it interesting...

Re: How do you make an offer on a Model A?

It's almost like asking a pretty girl out. If you don't have the balls to ask, she doesn't get a chance to accept.
I didn't pay asking price for 2 of the 3 A's I own and nobody got their feelings...

Re: How do you make an offer on a Model A?

Cash in hand talks.
Many times people will balk a little, but they will ultimately take your cash as opposed to sitting on the vehicle any longer.
As a buyer, it's up to you to try and make the...

Re: noisy speedo

When I got my Cabriolet the speedometer didn't work. Poking around I found that it wasn't "plugged in", so I hooked it up. It made an awful noise and it didn't read correctly. Most of the people in...

Re: Gas ration WW-2

It was the January/February issue of the MAFCA "Restorer".

I bought a reproduction set of ration stamps off of Ebay for my Dads 81st brithday (he still has all of the family originals). I just...

Re: Model A vintage photo thread (black and White)

The subject just came up in a conversation no less than a week ago, so I will follow up and see if he can locate the pictures. When and if he does, I will be sure to post them!
