Re: Uni-Steer advice sought
I'm sure it's TJ's "preferred method", nothing to get upset about. No one was challenging your authority.
Do you have a suggestion for the OP, or just a bone to pick with TJ?

8BA stuff
I have some intake manifolds and bell housings. I don't know the years of the intakes.
Should I try to find someone who wants these things? Or just scrap them?
I have more junk than room.
Thanks

Re: STOLEN RODSTER north of Denver
In reference to post #18. Very bad habit indeed, however, in Duane's defense, this was at a club function a few years back.
Nothing but club members in the parking lot, and always some one...

Re: Tire Purchase - Bias/Radial
Same here, and they won't scratch your fresh wheels. But they are an independent shop in an old Phillips 66 station that has been in the family for generations. Not corporate.
I am glad they are...

Re: Head Studs Problem
I am sorry, I don't have a solution for you and I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I would not be comfortable using them as is.
Again just my opinion.

Re: Bob Drake Water Pumps
I guess 48-52 truck would be the key words. Just went back to Carpenter's site, all I could find was a left hand pump. More expensive than buying a pair, which I need.
Thanks any way.

Stubborn valves…..torch?
Is it advisable to cut off stubborn valves & springs with a torch?
What damage can I cause using this method?
I believe this is an A motor with mushroom valves, any help will be appreciated.
