Re: Car stolen @ Henry Ford Museum?
I was at the Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village on Thursday of that week. Didn't notice any security vehicles around. Plenty of "hot" cars though, it was about 100 degrees...

Re: When & Why did car shows turn MODERN?
We have a local "Cars n Coffee" show first Sunday of every month and my wife and I thoroughly enjoy it. We've made several friends there, just discussing our cars. It's only for a few hours, not a...

Re: the history of your car ???????
My '28 Tudor--gas tank stamped date of 10-11-28, and assembled in San Francisco, was purchased used in 1930 by a family friend of my dad's. It was his family's only car until 1973, and was driven...

Re: 1/4 Scale Tin Lizzy
Like it. Mine's an older version, judging by the radiator--mine was built in 1957 and has the wood wheels. One of these days I need to find a missing hubcap, along with a fender. Mine doesn't have...

Re: 1/4 Scale Tin Lizzy
That is great. If they have any kind of parts list/price list, that would be handy. The project might get started early.

Re: 1/4 Scale Tin Lizzy
For what it's worth, pun intended, I still have the one I got when I was in third grade back in the early 60's. My dad got it used; I still know the original owner. Mine was built in 1957 by the...
