Magicbox51. I had exactly the same on my '28 Roadster. A very nasty shimmy at certain speeds. Tightened the pitman arm and no more shimmy!!!!

After having poor braking on my 1928 Standard Roadster I decided to check the brake drums on my lathe. I skimmed all four, refitted them and now she brakes like a modern car.
