The pump is a genuine melling stamped M15. I have had it a while but it is new. This sheered off drive shaft is a mystery. I see no other reason than metal failure.

My '34 3 window coupe, full fender all steel with supercharged 284" flatty weighs in at 2880 lb on the road with gas and no driver. The car has 150 lb more weight on the rear.
