A bit more detail. I was able to remove the gauge from the tank, and also found that there is a pickup tube going to the bottom of the tank.

Model A Engine and transmission

This engine and transmission came as a spare with my '29 roadster. It was sitting outside in MT for quite some time. No idea of condition.
Local pick up only.

Yes, since new. It was purchased at S.H. Cooley Ford in Healdsburg, CA in 1934 by my cousins father. I have the original key holder (?) from Cooley:

70k might be optimistic. I haven't checked, but I don't think the ODO works, and the pedals tell a much different story...

Yes, the bottom of the seat extends past the seat riser by about an inch. I can get a better picture and measurement tonight.

Thanks! Plans are: Sharp alum heads, 2X2 intake (stock gen location), mild cam, reverse eye springs, clean it up and drive the crap out of it.


It's been a fun project so far...I wish I knew...

I've got quite a few more pictures posted on Shutterfly (link below). The '50 shoebox in the barn was restored by my dad about 10 years ago...same deal. My cousin bought that one back in March....
