OK..... a thought from a retired Firefighter, an extinguisher to save the car YES, but remember to save yourself! You do not want to be fumbling around in the interior of the car (under the gas tank)...

Another thought, most of us have never used a fire extinguisher, talk to your local Fire Department, most Departments will give classes on the proper techniques and proper extinguishing agents to...
