Grind your bit to fit the slot with flats along the sides, not tapered. WD-40, the normal stuff is not penetrating fluid. Kroll works good too.

VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number, that is what the serial number is. While the numbers used later did have more information in them, they amount to the same thing and go in the same box...

It has an air balance tube, so would be industrial or farm. Off something like a Gleaner combine, maybe. With the air balance tube would have used with an air filter, more than likely oil filled type.
