Rumble deck bumper question

Does anyone have an easy method of installing the upper round bumpers on both corners of a rumble seat deck/hood??" Newly painted body.

Obviously the wood you have is not right. But it depends on what type of car/truck you have as to type and number of blocks that are needed.

Have you mic'd the inside diameter of the drum surface and the emergency brake surface??
I will bet the drum isn't cut enough to fit new shoes. Most new drums should be turned down to 11.0000 at...

In the process of restoring a Sport Coupe-1930-and was checking the headlight switch operation prior to installing the body back onto the car.
We installed a new wiring harness about 5 years ago...

Tighten the inner nut till it seats the bridge washer and no more. No need to it's not going anywhere. Tighten the outer section that goes over the stem till it hits the rim and just a 1/8 tur...

If you put only recreational gas-non ethanol gas in the tank you won't have the problem.
Ethanol absorbs moisture and creates all kinds of trouble in A tanks.

Look in volume 5 of the restorer technical books. It has the complete information on restoring a 30-31 Sport Coupe.
The cut for the top back side follows the profile of the wood. It is centered...

If you use a timing light. you will need a degree indicator that mounts to the front of the engine and sits over the crank pulley. NuRex sells them. The timing can be adjusted in small increments...

Header cover question

Can anyone post a photo of the location of this part and its purpose?? It goes over the top of the sun shield on a coupe. This came off of a 30 Sport Coupe, early 30, but was only used on 28-29's.
