Thank You…( .thinking the 49/50 has the 1.25” diameter hose opening on top also? ) for your help. I’d rather sell them ( due to the top and bottom portions being brass even if core leaks, as core can...

Re: Radiator Identification
Found on another site says the 21A/G says that’s a 42 Ford, G notes it was manufactured in Green Island NY? Sounds plausible?

Re: Instrument lights 1939 Ford Deluxe
I did finally get the cover off, and ohmed out both bulbs, the pillar light switch is original and had enough corrosion on the points to prevent it from making contact. Took it apart and cleaned up...

Re: Instrument lights 1939 Ford Deluxe
I have one of those shut off switches on my battery, that I use to disengage after taking the car out, so it’s not like the clock light stays on 24/7. Easy enough to just remove the bulb.

Thankx for your effort and help. So your saying that switch ( downstream of the reostat but before those three bulbs- dash/clock lights ) is one assembly?
As seen in this wiring diagram.

Absolutely, both bulbs are good, did a visual and ohmed out both, no voltage feeding those two instrument lights.
No one seems to answer the basic question I have, which is the open switch...

Yes I’ll try that, ( jacking car up ) I typically move the car manually every week or so to keep from getting flat spots.
