Rebuilder used all the correct parts. I bought the rebuild kit and gave it to him. He matched up all the parts as he went and gave me back all the old stuff.

Would you recommend I take the carb apart and loosen everything up then reassemble on the intake manifold? Not sure how to tackle this. Thanks!

Whining noise from my 8BA

Just had my 94 Holley rebuilt and fired up the motor and now I have a terrible whining noise. Sounds like a small jet turbine! Can’t figure out where it’s coming from. Gasket to the intake manifold...

I have the exact same problem with my ‘53 so I’ve been priming with carb spray if it’s been longer than a week. I’m thinking my old 94 is worn out and has a slow leak.

it quit right after the fuel in the carb was spent. I undid the fuel line and no fuel came out of the pump when I cranked it over. Gas tank was full. The car was parked on an incline, does that have...

Whenever my I take my flathead out on a hot day and shut it down for about 30 mins it won’t restart. Only enough fuel pumps in to fill the glass filter and that’s about it. Cool it down and it starts...
