Vic, Sorry I misunderstood. I though you were referring the chrome strips behind the rear window. Those chrome holes in the picture look like they hold a flag pole in the parade.......Gary lol

Vic, The chrome pieces cover the joint between those pieces of wood. It's like an expansion joint. Gary
