Removing Steering Drag Link
Trying to remove steering drag link on 38 sedan. I removed cotter pin and nut but do not want to tap to hard to drive out-what is the best way to drive link out with out damage-Thx

Yep sure is just pull and twist- Just remember to push it back in or the Odometer will not turn over:)

1938 Ford Tranny Question?
Guys-Where is the vent hole for the standard 38 trans on my 85 hp Ford Standard? Could not find it on the shift tower if that's where it is supposed to be-Thanks

Just put your nice original plates back on your truck and carry the new ones issued you in the cab. If you are pulled over which is very unlikely-pull out your new plates-if a cop pulls you over it...

Striker Plate Replacement
Guys-Needing to replace my old striker plates on my 38 Sedan. Question -when I remove the screws are there nuts on the back that will fall into the door or are they on a plate-Thanks

1938 Ford Sedan Standard Trunk Lock
Guys-I removed the lock cylinder out of the Trunk Handle on my 1938 Ford Standard Sedan to take to a locksmith to get re keyed. He says the cylinder is shot and I need to find a new one. Does anyone...

The repop works fine now that I got the locking part inside the door to rotate. I went to the repop until I can get my original rekeyed. Thanks Guys

1938 Ford Door Lock
Just replaced my Door lock with a new repop-my old one did not have a key-the internals in the door only turn a half turn and do not lock or unlock with new Door Lock-any ideas -Thanks

1938 Head Casting Stamps

Going to let Bill Wzorek rebuild them-He is on this forum (senior member)-Im sure the tube shocks ride a lot better but like keeping the old 38 as original as possible-Thx Dan
