I have no regrets about changing the starter & alternator wires to 2/0 which solved a LOT of wiring, starting and charging problems. Maybe overkill but the 6 v was kind of temperamental.

Problem solved ( by Bob's garage )
The clutch release bearing was rusted to the flywheel as Cas mentioned and after playing around with it for an hour on their lift Yogi freed it up, thankfully....

1.) Yes when I parked her in the backyard last fall, the clutch was working as it takes me about 15 minutes to snake through the gate, around the cabanons and then park a slight angle to the road.
