Mount your toggle switch on the gear shift, it's out of sight and handy to operate T/S as you down shift for corner or upshift coming out.

For a tranny use a T5 available a reasonable cost and offers 5 speed with 5th OD. Bell adaptors are available for T5 to V8 60 engines.

The engine number also appears on the top of the right side frame rail about opposite from the parking brake lever on the left side. The motor number thus becomes the VIN number.

Applied new rubber seals to side and rear windows and pushed hem into place. Fit snug, but certainly not water tight. Would a little silicone sealer be of good use here?

Using connecting rods which fit the axle tubes makes nice shock brackets, I've done that and have made brackets like connecting rods where I couldn't fit standard rods to fit.
