I have a 30 Roadster with 3.54 diff and 25% Laycock OD and i love it. My 30 Coup is 3.78 diff and 27% Laycock od and hard to tell the difference.

I trimmed the shoulder on the studs back a bit and fit the drums loose on the studs and let the wheel hub hold the drum in place as in most modern cars rear drum brakes Cheers Rosco

Hello Mike, first of all what oil are you using we in NZ use 75 w 80 GL4. They used to share the oil with the gearbox/ transmission. The solenoid is clicking but it may not be holding the 400 psi...

I purchased a Fordor that had a new ali radiator and it boiled 6 times on the ride home, first job was to replace it with an A rad no more probs.

I installed a modern valve kit with Stainless valves in my B motor 6 years ago and set the gap at 12 thau no noise still going.

I took the seat out of my 30 coupe, trimmed 2 inches off the parcel shelf, moved the adjustment bracket forward 2 inches and replaced the seat very comfy now.

I had a problem with fuel blockages on the road which I cured with the fuel filter fitted to the tank side of the fuel shut off tap and left the rust in the tank.

I used 8mm grub screws works fine no need to drill. The trick is not to tap in too far with a taper tap then the plug will lock in the hole, file flush.

The only way to drain the oil is to remove the small aluminium sump, this also allows you to clean the filters. The OD shared oil with the gearbox. Without the gearbox fill plug one must fit a plug...

You need to replace the O rings in the solenoid especially the ones inside on the piston. Also you must have the correct grade of oil I use 75W90 any heavier and it will not change gear.
