Plain twist on petrol cap for a v8 should fit. that's what I have on my oil filer tube which is on Canadian Aluminum manifold.

I have the VSM signal stat 900 type in my car ( very good unit) and made my own wiring harness up wrapped it in black insulation tape and ran it through the chassis rails . I wired the front signal...

I've used "Mothers" products for a number of years now. They have the full range of washing cleaning, cutting, polishing and detailing products. Always by hand and never a machine.

This is really for the benefit of NZ v8 owners. If you are having trouble locating the proper cartridge (Wix 51006) go to the site below. took 2 days to arrive.

Phil like fordor 41 says. It should have corners which will guide where to position it and I used the 3M weatherstrip glue as well.

Phil definitely not to the lid. I used a Drake one piece and it is great. Glued it to the grove around the boot/trunk opening with the flap bit pulled over the lip (doesn't sound too good does it)....

If you are planning on getting a bit cut the glass is not flat but is slightly concave (or convex depending on the side you are looking at).

It's been like that since 1939. I wouldn't bugger the fender, but look for a right side one with the light to retro-fit.....can't be too hard to do a colour match. Just my opinion.
