And yes I agree Adelaide 32, I was thinking of going to a local member of parliament about my car and taking it further. Especially when the rego people started listing...

The brakes are not power boosted and it has a proportioning valve with standard 40 rear drums. I had the rear drum brakes rebuilt (new linings, wheel cylinders, etc.) and new hand brake cable fitted...

It has Chevelle discs adapted to the original front end, thermo fan (not original fan), braided brake lines, wider than stock wheels/tyres. Just some of the mods the rego dept did not pass it for lhd...

Thanks guys for the replies and tips. I would like to keep the original front end etc. in the car, but might now consider going full independent RHD front end as parts are getting expensive and hard...
