The covers are OEM ; I am well aware of the need for longer studs and have ordered a kit from Concours Parts which includes studs,gaskets,grommets,washers and acorn nuts.

I know this question has probably been asked before, but what silicone product works best on valve cover gaskets? I don't need them falling off during installation .

I have also wondered about this; apparently this was the way the 54 came from the factory as my Victoria is the same .

The temperature regulator valve in my 54 Victoria is leaking and needs to be replaced . I have purchased a new one and it is on the way . Before I dig into removal , is there anything I need to know...

I have purchased new roof emblems and bezels for my 54 Victoria . Is it possible to pop the old ones off from the front or do they need to be removed from the rear ?

I currently have a pair of aftermarket valve covers on my 1954 Victoria ; one is fine the other one leaks ( different thickness gaskets attempted ). They were not expensive and probably poorly made ....

I am searching for front brake drums for my 1954 Victoria . Not only are they difficult to find as compared to rears there is conflicting info . One vender states that they are the same as 55 and 56...

The new sensor needed a slight adjustment but was worth the effort as it now fits and the gauge works (by my calculation it also appears to be fairly accurate ).The issue was a faulty sensor.Thanks...

The original sender/float is identical to the one in the picture ; it and the "new"one will not fit in the Bob Drake tank as the hole is slightly smaller. I have thought about taking the tank out and...

Is it possible that the full reading on the gauge has something to do with the fact that the car was originally positive ground ?

The car has been converted to 12 volt negative ground , the stock gauge had been working well and ,unfortunately, the original sender does not fit in the new tank.
