Re: Belly tanks Model A/B
Interesting transmission Jim Brierley… what bellhousing worked with that? Did you have to make an adapter plate. I have seen transmissions behind model A/B motors using model AA truck bellhousing.

Re: Babbit question
I have myself a rulebook... first goal is to make a rolling chassis with engine and trans, then focus on the roll cage and pertinent scta rules.
I finally got around to measuring the crank...

Re: Babbit question
Ok. Great info guys appreciate the help.
Looks like I need to take some measurements of the crank and real seal to see if it’s worth moving forward with existing Babbit. I do know that there was...

Good info guys.... so should I measure poundage by the Les Andrews measurement of 2.25 installed height? Should be 60lbs for a mild cam. Shim if needed, then check for coil bind? Sound correct?...

Re: Valve spring issues
I’m running standard head... no OHV. Larger intakes, dual 97’s and mild cam. Should be around 6.25:1 compression. I agree that the shorter spring is a big deal... it really caught my eye. Still need...

Re: Need Mallory rotor
Thanks! I looked on the site looks like most of the inventory is gone. I started looking at old Willy’s Jeep parts to see if something may fit. Anyone tried this?
