Wow "eureka" I thought it was a OEM , Thanks , Maybe I can modify it with a ground out dimple, There's a little bit of shoulder to mic next to the OD of bearing, and it mics similar to the B-4655...

I got the those numbers with a T gauge and micrometer.. the yellow outline( i'm not a photoshop expert) is the bushing I'm measuring to get the ID. So I guess it appears someone has machined a thick...

The meas. I get on 32-48 DS bearing is aprox 1.67 " OD . part number B-4645 from C&G Ford parts, how is this going to fit in a 1.47" ID split bearing? please look at my Dims ? thk/u.

Sorry for the crappy pic of DS end , there was a dim line but it didn't show , the mystery bearing is about .125 " thick . its the bright circle . thk/s.

Getting ready to shorten my solid 42 D/S, are there any special considerations (besides cooling slowly) when welding coupler on or machining new splines ?.

Did chisel them off , big hammer, were spot welded in center, will get them spacers..thk/s for all info..gus.

1)12" drum 5x5-1/2 , highlighted are ridges (only 1/3 are attached) which prevent rim from mounting correctly ,what use are these ridges ?

2) also have 11 " 5x5-1/2, drums similar,but no nested...

Great info ,thanks, since I am still in the mock-up stage of this rod project ,I think i will raise up the engine/trans for a couple deg. for a + up on pinion angle ..
I would still like to know...

It was a Ebay hot rod in a "basket" project .lots of miss matched parts , I think the axcel might be a 37-41 ,but I think that year bushings are 7/8",, this shackle hole is 1.166", thk/u. gus.

rear spring ID?

there are 12 leafs, 2.250" wide, shackle hole is 1.166", grease fitting on center bolt,
Also, Having hard time finding a rubber type shackle bushing for this size 1.166 " hole .thanks gus..

Just 2b sure=Obliviously with roller out, I push on steering shaft ,and it pushes out the lower outer race, and if its hard to push out I recken I scrap the bearings ? yes, it has a horn hole in...

Just got this box in a pile of stuff with my 27T Rod project, how do you remove the steering shaft out of hosing ?, I can see the drag link shaft drops out . there is a barely discernible casting #...
