from what ive learned there are two extra " steam holes" in the B block between 2 and 3 cylinder. A doesn't have this added cooling I guess.

yes I did know that. what I want to know is what has to be don't to use an A head on B block. thinking about using an aftermarket alum head for an A

well this B has the C head on it, which is high comp I guess. just thinking about going A head so a waterpump is more avalable

interesting. I have 2 B transmitions, but have no idea what they look like inside, where I have a ton of A stuff. think it will still get an A trans behind it

got pan and flywheel off anyways. things look good washed it out with degreaser and cleaned it up some pan and flywheel need to go to the hottank really.

isn't that balanced crank prity...

well id have to disagree, mine has mounts just like the A on the top cast part. you can see them in the pictures unless they are in a different position than the A?

ok, next question,if anyone knows. to me it looks like the spaceing of the B and A flywheel housing are the same. is there any reason you cant leave the B oilpan / flywheel housing alone and...

im not 100 percent sure but I think I have the long pump.

I intend to put an A transmition behind this and put it in a stock A car. seems like this is the easiest way, to mod the pan, and use...

i have one other question for the experts here, the valve gallery, on the under side of the cover there is another gallery which looks like the oil feed ? does the pump push oil into this gallery...
