Yes, the door is open. I was able to use a screwdriver to pry the latch from inside.

I believe all the screws are accounted for. I am hesitant to pry too hard. It is also hard to get anything...

I use a Harbor Freight magnet, #67156, in the channel at the rear of the hood, against one of the bolt heads. I wrap it in rubber tape to protect the edges of the hood.

I used an old tail light and license plate bracket to make a house number for our cabin. I cut a piece of Masonite in the shape of a license plate and put self adhesive numbers on it for the house...
