CA Victoria - I may have to do that. It comes thru at an angle. I was thinking of securing the toe board and then using a vise grips to hood the switch on the frame, then drill holes.

I’d always heard they were the same also. This floor starter switch was with the truck, but I have replaced the frame. Surely someone has a floor mounted switch and can locate the mounting holes?

36 pickup starter switch mounting
My frame is missing the mounting holes for the foot actuated starter switch. I can see in the metal toe board where it needs to mount, but if I’m off by a little bit the switch probably won’t line up...

The bed frame has hardwood planks on the underside and a solid steel bed floor on top. The bed steel is embossed with rub strips that look similar to the strips you would normally see on the wood...
