Allow me to introduce myself...I've got a 50 Ford custom with a 51 mercury 255 flathead and 3speed with overdrive. Recently purchased a loaded 46 flathead that is seized...for parts.

More info....merc 255 flathead in car running. Parts engine has cam and lifters I will swap if I can find heads or modify stock ones....If possible?
Have 48 offy aluminium heads that I can't use on...

Hey.....
I bought a parts engine that has a 3/4 cam in it. Can I modify the stock merc 255 to accept the higher lift ??
