Dennis: Is there a Ford key number stamped on the stem? If so, it should start with the prefix of A-xxxx. mike

Here's some detailed photos. Handle is clad, not cast, and the base is not cast. A 1231 is clearly stamped on the shaft. Yes, the original deck lid key slides nicely into the 1231 lock. Photos show...
