Crank Bearing Problem
When removing a shim from between the block and rear crank cap a part of the babit fell out of the cap. How do we repair this? Sure appreciate your help.

Correct torque for rod and main caps?
I read in Jim Schild's "Restore's Model A Shop Manual"
proper torque for mains is 50 and rods is 35
I've been told
mains should be 80 and rods 50

long warm up
It's been taking a long time to warm my engine up and we live in a mild climate. Have to continually use the choke for the first 2-3 minutes to keep it going and then after 4-5 minutes it runs fine....

shipping a head
I would like to ship a model A cylinder head to my brother about 350 miles away. Could someone give me an idea on how to crate it and what's the best way to ship it.
