I saw A 1926 T with six lug nuts on wooden spoke wheels . I have never seen this before . I don't think this is standard . What do you say?

I have the above 48 pick up it has a 4speed trans . The gas milage is bad. Im trying to figure out how to reduce the RPM.In looking at manuals I see the std 3speed trans is supposed to have a 3.73...

thank you sir . these are steel spoke rims and the studs seem to be welded to thehub I was thinking maybe I could press the center of the hub through the drum but I was wondering what would happen...
