1931 roadster bottom door seal install challenge

Has anyone got a secret way to get the rubber seal in the channel? I have tried lubricants.I have tried pulling it through, tried prying channel open more and it will not go . Lip on rubber seems...

Yes that is the one with the brass bushings and it cost $49.95.I will call A and L next week and explain to them what it is doing, off-on-off.

That is what I will do and hope they don't mind since I bought it from Bratton's but they have not got back to me. Order this weekend goes to Snyders.

I know it is closed fine and at first pedal depression it opens and lights come on,then as more pedal more open no lights. Jumped across fine. Guess if Bratton's won't respond I will take apart not...

I wonder what symptoms you had with your switch? Mine works on first braking but as plunger moves to furthest out no brak lights. I jumped contacts so I know it must be the switch.It is the $49.95...

Has anyone else eevr spent the extra money at $49.95 to buy the USA made stop light switch only to have it malfunction? I know it is the switch or I assume it is because everything works when I jump...

I had a 1932 Plymouth PB that had twin sidemounts ,tires fit fine until new Coker BF Goodrich tires. Tires were over 3" diameter more than stated diameter and over 4" than the forty year old...

That is a nice plate but you have to get it from the Netherlands? Another idea is the one from a seller in Springfield Ohio MearlyFord that is a patent plate with a serial number space,stamping does...

Champion W-20 plug

Would a Champion W-20 plug be a good runner in a Model A engine that probably has seen better days,probably needs at least rings and valve job,never bored. I have 4 W-20 that came with it.Thank You....

Yes I tacked the welting on the board edges. Everything went good on this part of the project except forgetting the seal install on the accelerator hole. 74 years old glad I know where my garage is.

Thank You, glad of that just got the upper board in my '31 roadster and was hoping I did not have to take back out to tack the seal in place.
