If your wiring is that bad I would be disconnecting the battery when the car is parked in the garage until you get the new harness.

Top of the yoke. Also put a small piece of frame welting between the yoke and the cossmember to avoid squeaks.

Advertise on here and the V-8 Club website for a NOS rear spring. If no luck call Eaton-Detroit spring. They have a good reputation. Personally I would avoid the air shock fix.

I put one on a friend's '40 pickup due to the original being totally wore out. It ran great right out of the box. Friend is very happy with it.

Pull the rear spring and go to a good spring shop. They can re-arch the rear spring for you. The other option is to look for a NOS rear spring.

'35 and 36 need a to have a drain lip installed on the bottom. There's a guy in Washington that makes the lip, but they are not cheap. A friend of mine is now making the conversion and it's a fair...

It routes behind the upholstered cowl panel and down into the bottom of the cowl.Make sure to cowl is clean and there is a gap or hole for the water to exit.
