Don't really have any ideas on the research aspects, but do know that different states DMV handle the vehicle id differently. My dmv required the frame number and totally ignored the engine number.

Thx Tom. Removed cover and saw spring you described. It is hooked next to zerk fitting, but is not loose on either end. (pix attached) The pix is taken showing spring when pedal is at rest but...

Clutch pedal doesn't return to top position

When I depress & release the clutch pedal, it doesn't return to the same height as the brake pedal. It's about 2 1/5 inches lower with no tension on it (pix attached). I can easily pull the pedal up...

Craig, Think Benson is on right track - it sounds like you may have a "high contrast white setting". Try changing to windows classic setting.

Just bought a new exhaust manifold to replace a cracked exhaust. Old one in bad shape, looks like it’s been welded at the crack - pix attached. There’s lots of soot/carbon in and around the exhaust...

Thx, that may be it. The gasket I bought measures 3/8 wide. I'll look on Snyder's to see if they sell the narrower one. If that's not the fix then then out comes the hammer.
