Re: Texas barn find 18k 1 owner 1950 bus. cpe.
Great find! Change as little as you can, just make her safe.
You're pretty close to OKC, as mentioned before, look up shoeboxfords (or whatever they become/became). They are a great resource...

Re: 3-speed w/overdrive fuse
Thanks everyone, but she's going to leave it a EFV8 members garage and take it easy in a rental for the rest of the tour.
I think the timing was the heating problem too. Apparently however, even...

Re: 3-speed w/overdrive fuse
Thanks Charles, might just be what we have to do.
They have been fighting heat problems all the way, not just my Mom, and I was hoping she could use the OD to keep things a little cooler.
They...

3-speed w/overdrive fuse
What size fuse should be used on a '50 3-speed w/ overdrive. Was running a 30amp, but it blew and I'm not sure if it's because it was the wrong amperage.
If 30amps is correct, quick ideas as to...

Re: What would chew/eat trailer wires???
Around here, cattle.
I have a 7-blade pig tail on my to-do list, again. I wish I had it done already, Mom leaves Sunday morning on her first leg to Lake Tahoe.

Re: Large or Heavy Duty Oil filter '51 M1
Thanks Al, that's exactly what I needed.
Do you happen to know what the story with these are? Is it a Ford part or aftermarket? Just something they did up there in Canada?

Anyone know where I can get the filter? Or what the part number to reference it by would be?
Or what the heck to search for? Large, Heavy Duty, truck .... not finding it.
If you can't tell by...

Re: New Member - '51 F1 PU
Nice 5-Star F1 you have there! I always see several 48-52 F1's at shows in Houston so I bet you will find all kinds of resources nearby, besides on here.
Good Luck!

Re: New wheel cylinders sucking air at bleeders?

Re: Green Bible, OG or Reprint?
Just curious, is there a difference in the information in an original and a reprint? Or are you just looking for an original, as a collector?
