I see these problems coming too, when I will change the Banjo rearend in my 36 Coupe for a Columbia.

The reason for my question is that I have Canadian aluminium heads C 91A-6050-B in great condition.

was it common back in the days to use 1939 heads on stock (not bored) 59AB engines?

I have a 39 transmission and a torq tube rear end in the 36. I will try to get the engine a little bit down. Clearance at the oil pan is ok I think. We will see.

The carb on the 59AB has 3...

I have the same problem in my 36. I have to change the worn motor mounts and saw the spacers. I don`t know why somebody did this.
