I’ll keep trying. The problem, I think, is my handle stops (maybe due to whatever is broke) before I can see the pin to inner handle shaft.

Thank the issue is typically you locate the hole and the pin is inline with the hole. Not the case here

Based on drawings I think I did it wrong.

So I tried taking a good grd jumper on firewall and connected it to horn terminal and horn...

It did indeed.

Thanks all! Now I need to determine why horn is dead. I pulled the cup off at bottom of steering column and cleaned grease out but still no good.

Your right again. I had to put a resistor in-line then to grd to make led blink.

These are plug and play leds. I had no brake lights (with no headlights and no & no brake lights w lights on)...

Yes same issue with parking (no headlights) on.

The three wires on led- one is ground. The other two. You think it may make a difference if I have them reversed?

Weather permitting...This one has been on my list ďto doĒ for few years.
