A fire wrench will work. Then you won’t need to worry about which steel wrench to use until you put it back on.

After addressing everything else I replaced the wishbone rubber ball clamp with a repro original. Did the trick.

I use a wire feed welder on mine. You should be able to fall partial sud rails but, as mentioned they come as pairs. My guess is that after you dig into the body a bit more if you need one you may...

Brent mentioned grinding a screw drive for a spring “puller”. Also put a notch in the end of another for a “pusher”.
