If it didn’t rattle before,,,,why would it start after boring it an extra.030 ?
And the extra bore shouldn’t really affect the cylinder head clearance that...

I inserted the handle end of a large screwdriver into the tube .
Wiggled it back and forth a few times,,,,,it came right out,,,,,,no damage at all .

That’s a very clean application.
But I’m with the other guys,,,,,,,I drilled and tapped the passage for a pipe plug .
Then I still have the side hole for a sender unit or whatever .

Sounds like the idler drive gear on rear is installed wrong direction .
That’s a real problem to fix if that’s the case .
Or,,,it could be the drive gear on the rear of camshaft ?

70 pounds of spring pressure sounds too low for a blown application .
That amount of boost will force past the valves at 70 pounds ,,,,,at least for the intakes .
