Re: Boiling Bros.
Glenn,
My books show the original Lincoln 12 X 1-3/4 to be a 29. These were also used on Buicks. 29's have not been available for years. I've successfully used 12 X 2, 194's on original early...

Re: Adding a remote brake resevoir onto firewall
Took a bit longer to find pics than I had planned, but here they are. Unfortunately the remote mc fill is not in the engine bay pic, but was at the far drivers side of the firewall. Note what...

Re: Adding a remote brake resevoir onto firewall
Many years ago I had a 1939 Railway Express Agency delivery truck. This was built on a '39 Ford 3/4 ton driveaway chassis. Not sure who built the body but it was somewhat similar to today's UPS or...

Re: 32 Roadster Sub-rails and Floor panels
Several years ago ( 2015ish?) I had the opportunity to look at an original floorpan side by side with a United Pacific and a Brookville. The UP was dead nuts spot on from my viewpoint. The...

Re: Insurance
I've had Grundy for nearly 20 years. Two claims during that time and both handled quickly and without hassles of any kind. One claim was a total loss on a '32 five window coupe. Agreed value was...

Re: Diamond Back Bias Ply looking radials
I just received a set of wide whites for my 32 roadster last week. 5.50/16 fronts and 7.50/16 rears wide white walls. About $1330.00 with the crazy shipping costs. I do have them shipped directly...

Re: Valve seat cutters
I use the original flathead pilot that came in the old Black and Decker set I have. Locates in both the lifter and guide bores. Works great.

Re: Valve seat cutters
Neway cutters. I used an old B&D seat grinder set successfully for years, but recent issues with the quality of grinding stones had me frustrated. Bought a set of Neway cutters and will never go...

Re: Stroker Pistons from back in the day
I have a 3 3/8 X 4 1/8 stroker kit sold by C-T Automotive in southern California in 1965. I don't see any name or identifier on the pistons. Apparently made for C-T, but by whom?
I also have...

Re: '40 coupe trunk handle lock
Appreciate the quick responses. I like the idea of grinding down a key to leave in the lock. The NOS lock cylinder came with two keys so will likely go that direction.
Thanks!!

Anyone happen to have specs for a Clay Smith M3 cam for a V860? I've had one for years but never run across the actual specs on it.
Thanks!
