the pix show the top of the cylinders are burned, and the ooze is more than just oil, it is burned oil.
rings too tight? low water level? low grade oil?
might be a good idea to pop the pan,...

Tom, it is boiling before he shuts it off
With a clean block and good radiator here we never go over 180 (no stat) even in summer.
That tells me the design temp is not more than 180

how hard is it to pull a head?
Ran on 3 cylinders for a couple years? No chance that all the gasoline mist the fourth inhaled would wash the oil off the cylinder walls and kill the rings/bore

We have removed such coils here because of this issue, and cross firing between cyls due to excess voltage leak
