Ok, folks, I am putting a 12v alt on my 41 flatty, it is running electric fans and vintage air, didn't the original generator feed to the voltage regulator and then through the gauge to the starter...

41 Bumpers

Can any one tell me if there are more than one bumper style for the 41 car. Were there any smooth, rounded bumpers or were they all the "step" type. Kind of scolloped looking from the end.

Would the bowl vent make a difference. I know one would leak into the carb and the other would leak outside if the float stuck or there was some percolation.

Is that the replacement for the original. I replaced the condenser when I changed the coil. Any idea where your suggestion may be purchased?
