It is just a small chrome piece that fills the gap from the stainless band over the roof to the door. Cannot find pic, had one 3 PC's ago.

That is a head scratcher, you should have used between 4 and 5 gallons. What tank is in the car the 40? Any chance that the depth would be greater than a Aerostar and effect the float staying up...

Have you tried calibrating the fuel link. I believe it has half a dozen presets. Try calling classic instruments.

Those front timing cover bolts are only 1/4 inch. Not sure what company it was but the used to sell a tubular crossmember. I see speedway, summit, jegs, mid fifties. Has them they all look the same....

Same thing happened to me. Was aftermarket electronic ignition failing. I swear car raised up a foot. 1st instinct is always pump the gas and loads up the muffler.

Here I have a shop with great reputation. It's not a chain and small town. I would try to find something like ours. Lot of electronics in newer trans. May be something simple.

Don't know much about transmissions in general but I remember something about the cruisomatics could crack the center support in the case. Whoever told me said it was from not having reverse band...

We all have insurance, this is just another 50 a year over 10 for new tires. With todays texting drivers I would prefer to not have to pull off the road for anything. JMO

They are usually rated for the amount of weight your transmission is going to pull. If you go with the stacked plate type they are kind of self regulating. Ford has used this type for years. Bigger...
