I removed the light switch from the bottom of the steering column to check the contacts since none of my lights, including the brake lights, would come on. Now when I replace it, the horn honks. ...

The leak is from the firewall end of that pipe connection. It just started a few days ago.

I can do that, but the leak is at the firewall around the threaded pipe that extends out to the cutoff valve. I don't know how to get that our to put tape on it.

Thanks to everyone. Hand cranking with the possibility of "kick back" brings back memories of the old Harleys before electric starters!!!!
