Checked the wheel carrier flanges. Both look the same. Kooks like the one on the right is an original with the boss in the center from the passenger's side, and the one on the left is a copy cut...

Sidemount irons - 1930 Coupe
How do I tell the difference between right and left irons for the front fender sidemounts.
Photo shows iron on left (from drivers side) and iron on right (passenger side) look the same.

I am using the spreader that goes the length of the spring. I guess I am just getting a bit nervous because of the tension and that the rear end is cocked a little. Photo is of the passengers side...

Rear spring shackle installation
Gentlemen:
I am having trouble lining up the spring and perch to insert the rear shackles.
I have the passengers side (right side) almost in but the rear end seems to be cocked at an angle....

Gents - I used the impact wrench. First try nothing. Second try nothing. Third try the nut spun off, so easily I thought I dreamt it!!!
